This Basic Foot Care course is designed to teach Registered Nurses (RN’s), Registered Practical Nurses (RPN’s), and Personal Support Workers (PSWs) working with the elderly, people with disabilities, or those who are unable to provide proper routine foot care to themselves. It will also cover how to assess and recognize foot health related problems, and communicate effectively with other members of the health team.
Once you have completed the Basic Foot Care course, you will be asked to select a date and time for a hands-on theoretical assessment; where you will be taught how to identify abnormal disorders of the skin and nail.
